Don t you think we expose our children to technology s harm?
At the age of 6...90%of children are learning/learned/own a computer,even amish children...i mean,in stad of bed time story s we show are children,animated cartoons from the computer,1 grades children use computers in schools,and we are wondering why are our children are having problems of comunication,they don t even know ABC very well ,and they rite stuff like lol,and other codes,grammer is down,and so does our children personality,they don t comunicate whit us anymore,in 5 grade they are all ready dating,on the internet,they spend moneyon cell phones,when they can buy some clothes!Dear Obama,give an presidential order that computers should be use by children only in the 8th grade,and about cell phones...3 grade are starting to apear on youtube,doing stupid stuff,hurting animals,smocking and so on,the same order that no children should have a phone until 8th grade!Im sure things will remain the same even worse,but thank you!Awaiting comments and arguments!
Because we don't live in the 20th century anymore, I'm not trying to be rude if that's what it seems.
But as time goes on, things change. It's always been like this throughout history. The word technology is not limited to electronic things. Back then, anything new created was considered new technology.
If we lived by your logic, then we'd still be riding horses and living in the middle ages.
But I do see where your coming from with all the young kids dating and owning a phone they barley use. I find it quite entertaining looking at a 7 year old "text" on his/her cell phone, one could only wonder what they even have to talk about.
Maybe something like this.... "OMG :O did u here jimmy got caght cheating 2day on da test?!? this iz major!"
I was a 90's kid so I do get kind of pissed off when I'm skating with my friends around the neighborhood and there's no kids playing outside anymore. I remember playing capture the flag with all the neighborhood kids when I was like 10. It's a shame.... but it's part of life.
