Do Amish women get orgasms with their husbands?
No joke, I'd love to know. You'd think that they'd be totally not in the mind set for that, but sometimes I wonder if it's being overworked that turns us off to sex. I also heard that the Amish have some kind of pre-wedding sleepover after the wedding is planned where the bride and groom sleep in the same bed just to get used to sleeping together (yeah, sure guys). j/k I also heard that there were a lot of STDs back in the Puritan days, and I'm wondering if women's difficulty with getting orgasms and enjoying sex isn't something very modern. They wouldn't have mentioned adultery in the Bible if people weren't doing it, and it took 2 back then just like it does today. This sort of relates to the human zoo concept, where we're in an unnatural environment compared to what we evolved in, with unnatural conditions too. Technology has also seemed to drive people further away from each other.
Sure they do!!!! Not only are children conducive to the farming environment, but since the Amish use no birth control, the prevailing result (children) are kinda a side effect of great sex. To think these men and women, who work out all of their blood, sweat and tears everyday, don't "appreciate" each other at the end of the day is a major misconception.
Sure there are probably some Amish women who don't have the "big O", not unlike any other groups of women. And as you mentioned above about adultery, I'm positive some cases were because unsatisfied lovers (be they Amish, Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, etc.) couldn't "come" to terms together!
Things are definitely different from the days of our grandparents as were from their' grandparents. But certainly people were searching for "love" or various forms of it like we all will, have or are continuing to do today.
