Nice respectful functional family. Your friends don't gossip and backstab. Your kids don't know of much evil until older.
Your husband will work extremely hard for the family. Your home will be handcrafted. You get to ride horses. Your church isn't about "showing off". Your food is fresh, hormone free, and msg free.
Your kids would get to collect fresh eggs, and make fresh cheese.
I'm kind of considering it myself to be honest.
Yeah, no more computers.... But I'm starting to see this technology as bad too because it's very isolating. (Like I'm communicating with people but "NOT REALLY" talking face to face)

Oh, sure. No gossip? No backstabbing? No showing off? Who said? Living low-tech doesn't make you better than human. The Amish way of life may be designed to temper pride, but it's still there to be tempered.
Amish women are working mothers, balancing care of several children and possibly old people, sewing, feeding chickens, cleaning, and getting three meals a day on the table on time. It's simple in the technological sense, but it's not simple as you live it. It's complicated and hard.
