Is there a way I could stay with an Amish Family for a week?
I am extremely interested in the Amish way of life and I wonder if there is anyone out there that would take me in. I have a solid Christian faith and I would be respectful, honor their beliefs, dress modestly and have a good attitude towards working.
Is there anyone who knows an Amish family that would be willing to do that?

The Amish are very leery of outsiders. I'd try to find a group of conservative Mennonites. They are a bit more open to outsiders who are genuine seekers to their way of life. It's good that you say you have a solid Christian faith first in your list because both groups are very devout. Be prepared for absolutely no electronics (tv, computer/internet, radio). Or perhaps you could stay at a B&B in an Amish community for a few days and ask around there.
